Leh: LEH-AIRPORT

Welcome arrival at Leh airport and transfer to hotel. Day for rest and leisure to acclimatize. Evening visit Leh market Overnight at hotel in Leh.

Leh: LEH-MONASTERIES

After breakfast a full day tour of Thiksey Monastery. It is better to visit early in the morning to see the sunrise and the praying ceremony. Also visit Hemis Monastery which is one of the biggest in this region. Ranchoo School , Sindhu Ghat and Stakina Monastery. While returning to Leh visit Shey Palace. Return to the hotel. O/N Leh.

NUBRA VALLEY: LEH –– NUBRA VALLEY

After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, on the way visit Khardung La Pass, which is the highest Motorable Pass (5600 Mts.) and has been recorded in the Guinness Book of world records. At the top enjoy the natural beauty of a snow capped mountain. Nubra or LDumra meaning the valley of flowers is located at a distance of about 130 Kms from Leh and is famous for its scenic beauty, friendly people, different species of flora and the double hump bactrian camel. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp.

TURTUK: NUBRA VALLEY-TURTUK- NUBRA

Leave Nubra Valley for Leh by surface and drive towards Turtuk. Turtuk is a village in the union territory of Ladakh, India. Turtuk is situated in the Leh district of the Nubra Valley. It is 205 km from Leh, the district headquarters, and 2.5 km from the Line of Control between India and Pakistan. Turtuk is also the headquarters of the eponymous community development block. Turtuk is located on the banks of the Shyok River. Geographically, the village is in the Baltistan region, which is administered by Pakistan except for four villages, one of which is Turtuk. Those villages are the only region in India populated by Balti people. In the evening return back to Nubra and join hotel for night stay

PANGONG LAKE: NUBRA- VALLEY-PANGONG LAKE

Leave early in the morning at 5. A.M to Pangong Lake through Changla Pass 5486 Mtrs. While ascending Changla passes 5486 Mtrs. Enjoy the beautiful panoramic view of the villages below the pass. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive - Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to the western shore of the lake. Enjoy the landscape in the backdrop of the Lake. This famous blue brackish Lake of pangong is 5/6 Kms wide and over 144 Kms long with half of it running the other side of the “Indo-China Border”. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

PANGONG LAKE: PANGONG LAKE-LEH (approx 260KM; 6 hrs)

This morning wake up early to have a scrumptious breakfast and embark on your journey back to Leh. Drive back through the same route passing Chang La pass Overnight at your hotel in Leh.
